4 Week Return Policy( standard distance selling terms ).

Can return product, unused within this time period and expect a full refund (less any postage costs). Only applies to products purchased on www.tentsile.co.uk.

1 Year Product warranty

Ensures that product will be in full working order upon delivery and will be of a quality which, within parameters of reasonable* use, is guaranteed for this period. If a manufacturing defect occurs within this time, the product can be returned for repair/exchange. Find our Warranty and Repair Forms here.

Reasonable use* does not include damage caused by behaviour that would cause damage to a conventional tent or are outside the guidelines as stated in the Tentsile Instructions: No usage of fire in or around the tent, no use of sharp objects including but not limited to, knives, tools etc, shoes should not be warn inside the tent.

Tentsile Waiver of Liability

Tentsile Ltd will not be liable for any damage or personal injury caused by mis-use of the Tentsile product. Users will take full responsibility for their health and safety once purchase has taken place and this signed waiver confirms the acceptance of these terms.

Recommended Set-up Guidelines and Terms of Use.

I, the customer agree:

A visual and tactile inspection of my Tentsile products will be carried out prior to each use.

All trees used by Tentsile products are within the health and size parameters as prescribed by the guidance provided in the manual and on the Tentsile website.

Stipulated weight limit for purchased Tentsile model will not be exceeded.

Tentsile will be set-up so the floor level is no more than 4 feet / 1.2 meters from the ground.

Ratchet straps will also receive a visual and tactile inspection before each use.

Ratchet Buckles will always be in put in LOCKED position while tent is in use.

No fire or naked flame will be allowed anywhere near Tentsile.

Tentsile will not be used after the consumption of any intoxicating substances.

Tentsile will be set-up as per instructions and guidelines provided.

No use of sharp objects or any kind will take place in or around Tentsile.

I understand that Tentsile is a suspended tent and so will behave in a sensible and responsible way while using it.

I hereby confirm that any personal injury or damaged caused by the misuse of Tentsile will be my sole responsibility and that Tentsile Ltd is exempt from all liability or prosecution.

I will not mistreat or misuse Tentsile as I understand it will increase risk to my personal safety and that of others.

Placing an Order: Any customer placing an order with Tentsile Ltdwill be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you have any queries regarding the terms and conditions then please contact us prior to placing an order.

By placing an order via this website, you are making an offer to Tentsile Ltdto purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.

Once you have placed an order, we will send you an email to confirm that the order has been received but please note that this is not a confirmation that your order has been accepted. A contract between you and Tentsile Ltdfor the sale of our products will only exist once the order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you.

Cancelling an Order: You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by Tentsile Ltd) for any reason up to the point of dispatch. If you cancel the order within this time then any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days. If the order has, however, been processed and dispatched then please read our returns and refunds policy.

Warranty

All Tentsile products are designed and manufactured to exacting standards and are covered by our user warranty. The warranty covers all manufacturing faults of the fabrics, parts and workmanship. This warranty covers the functionality of the product for its normal, intended use as specified in Tentsile's consumer literature on the website. It does not cover poles, malfunction of any fabric or component that has resulted from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, accidents, damage due to excessive winds/weather, improper re-packing or natural degradation due to sunlight.

No consequential loss may be claimed under this guarantee. This guarantee in no way affects your statutory rights.

If you believe your product is a warranty claim, please first contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. They will advise you of the most appropriate course of action. Should the product need to be returned to us for inspection, then please visit our after sales page and download the relevant form as this will speed up the return, inspection and warranty process. Please do not return the product to us, without following the above procedure, as this may result in unnecessary delays and the product being returned, without inspection.

**This may vary depending on the statutes in force within the country of purchase.

The following damage is not covered by the Warranty

General wear & tear over 3 months continuous reasonable use*

Flaws in the fabric, if caused by excessive wear

Leaking through fabric if it is suffering from UV degradation (Often leaking fabric is in fact condensation on the inside of the fabric)

Leaking through seams if the there has been excessive abrasion of the seams or the seam sealant tape

Broken zips if caused by forcing, jamming or improper use

Seams coming apart if caused by over tensioning / stretching

Broken buckles if they have been subjected to undue force or abrasion

Broken carry / roller bag if they are over loaded, used for carrying other items or used as a toy

All pole breakages - these are treated as “fair wear & tear”

Collateral damage from a pole breakage

UV degradation

Condensation, usually caused by lack of ventilation

Commercial use by rental companies, use by youth groups (Scouts, Guides, BB, DOE)

Reasonable use* does not include damage caused by behaviour that would cause damage to a conventional tent or are outside the guidelines as stated in the Tentsile Instructions: No usage of fire in or around the tent, no use of sharp objects including but not limited to, knives, tools etc, shoes should not be warn inside the tent.

Terms of Product Use

Although Tentsile can be set up within the trees, we recommend a set-up height or no more than 1.2 m from ground level. Tentsile's illustrated Set-Up guide should be followed when erecting Tentsile.

RETURNS

1.When returning products, you are under a duty to take reasonable care to ensure that the fulfiller receives the products and that the products are not damaged in transit. Therefore, for your protection, when you are returning a product to us, we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. A collection service may be offered for some products the Returns Documents will state if a collection service operates for your product.

2.Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the products to us or for the use of the collection service unless it is defective (see below).

3.If the product you receive: (a) has been sent to you incorrectly due to our fulfiller’s error; (b) is damaged; (c) does not conform to its description; (d) is not fit for purpose; or (e) is not of satisfactory quality it is considered defective. Note that damage caused to the product once it is in your possession does not make the product defective and is beyond our responsibility.

4.If a product is defective, please contactusDefective products should be returned to the fulfiller as soon as possible, and in any event, within 30 days of delivery.

6.In particular, please note that any items returned to us which you claim to be faulty or incomplete are checked and verified by our technicians. Any returned items that are found not to be faulty or incomplete will be returned to you and we shall be entitled to charge you for the return carriage costs via your original payment method. In the event that your credit card has expired, or is declined we will hold the item(s) until full payment has been made for the return carriage.

7.Any items that you return to us are at your own risk, therefore we strongly advise all our customers to take reasonable care when returning any items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed, adequately packaged, and carried by a reputable carrier.

Disclaimer and Limitations of Liability

Except in relation to our contractual obligations to supply goods following acceptance of orders placed on this website, neither Tentsile Ltdnor any employees, suppliers or representatives will be liable in contract, tort, (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise for any loss or damage whatsoever in any way connected with the use of the website or our products.

You agree that we cannot guarantee and therefore will not be held responsible for the security and privacy of the website of Tentsile Ltdand any information provided to or taken from this website by you.

You agree fully to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Tentsile Ltdimmediately on demand, it’s employees or other representatives from and against all liabilities against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any of the breach of conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of the use of this website.

These conditions shall not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence or that of any employees, agents or servants.

Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your concerns about privacy and undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to Tentsile Ltdas strictly confidential. Any information supplied to us may be stored on a computer system but Tentsile Ltdundertakes not to sell, rent or in any way share your personal information with third parties, unless you have given us permission to do so.

To order products from Tentsile Ltd, we will need to know your name, mailing address and email address. To process credit card orders online you will also be required to detail your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit or debit card number and expiration date.

Customer information is used to improve our products and service and occasionally we may let you know of new products or promotions. We will use your information for limited email updates, processing orders, delivering merchandise, business analysis and when we need to communicate with you regarding orders or enquiries placed through our site.

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to Tentsile Ltd using your information for marketing purposes. We’ll keep you informed about promotions, information, and deals from us and other partners, and from time to time will share data with third parties (such as Google) for our advertising work.

Product & Packaging Description & Prices

Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and specification are correct, however, in some instances such as colour and size, slight variations in the actual goods may occur. Colours, although displayed as close representations, may vary due to the nature of our handmade products and also due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers. The individuality of the production process for the hand-made items means that the size and shape may also vary very slightly from the description.

Payment and Retention of Title

Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch. if for any reason goods are shipped prior to clearance of payments, title in the goods will belong to Tentsile Ltd, until full payment for the goods has been received. Please note however, that on-line transactions are normally processed automatically whilst you are on-line to the secure transaction server.
